Pallet delivery: what to check before ordering
Our fuels are delivered through pallet networks. Please check access and the unloading surface before placing your order.
Vehicle access
Deliveries normally use a large, curtain-sided vehicle with a tail lift. Narrow roads, tight corners, low branches, weight restrictions and difficult approaches can prevent delivery. If access is restricted, contact our team before ordering. A smaller vehicle may be possible for some loads, but must be agreed in advance.
A firm, level unloading point
A manual pallet truck moves the pallet from the tail lift to a suitable kerbside delivery point. It needs a smooth, firm and level surface such as concrete or tarmac. It cannot travel over gravel, loose stones, soft ground, steps or steep slopes.
A dropped kerb must be flush with the road where the pallet truck needs to cross it. The driver assesses the safest unloading position; delivery does not include carrying individual bags into your property.
Pallet delivery, not crane unloading
Our fuel deliveries use palletised services. Do not assume a Hiab or crane vehicle will be supplied. If your site needs lifting equipment, check with us before buying.
Delivery dates and charges
Available services, delivery charges and dates depend on the order and destination. Check the options shown at checkout. If you need a particular day, timed service or special access arrangement, speak to us first so we can confirm availability and cost.
Before your delivery arrives
- Check the vehicle approach and keep the unloading area clear.
- Tell us about access restrictions before dispatch.
- Arrange for someone to receive the delivery.
- Plan how you will move and store the bags after kerbside unloading.
